CARBON FOOTPRINT TRAINING Project
Projected Date:2021
Actions: Teaching senior environmental engineering students at Uludağ University how to calculate
their carbon footprints while introducing them to the climate catastrophe, the Paris Agreement, and the
calculation criteria and procedures.
The volunteers from our paint and chemical suppliers helped with the project by dividing the trained
students into three groups and creating Carbon Footprint reports for the appropriate businesses for 2020.
Outcomes
Social:
• Ensuring university students obtain information and experience before beginning their professional
careers
Environmental:
• Draw attention to global climate change
• Supporting carbon footprint reduction efforts
• Assisting businesses in reducing carbon consumption
• Raising global warming awareness among students and suppliers
